Latitudinal and longitudinal distribution of polar faculae in the southern and northern hemisphere of the Sun has been considered for 1981 - 1988. It has been found that during the period in question there were more polar faculae in the northern hemisphere then in the southern hemisphere and this N-S asymmetry was very definite. The study of the longitudinal distribution of polar faculae shows that there is a stable E-W asymmetry of their annual number. A variation of the N-S and E-W asymmetries depends on the phase of the polar activity cycle. The reliability of some values of the asymmetry was tested using the χ2 criterion.
