We present detailed HST/STIS imaging of the Lyman-alpha and continuum emission associated with the hosts of radio galaxies in strong cooling-flow clusters. The origin and emission mechanisms of this gas is of great interest, as it is a tracer not only of cool gas in the centers of these clusters but also gives valuable information about recent star-formation that has been occurring. The emission also traces interactions between the radio source and ambient gas, thereby allowing a direct investigation of the effect of the surrounding gas upon the evolution of the radio source, together with the overall role played by the radio source in the long-term energetics of the cooling-flow nebula.
