We present the design of the calibration pipeline for the Advanced Camera for Surveys (ACS). As well as discussing the steps that will be carried out in the pipeline, we give the results from timing tests using the operational pipeline hardware on a typical day's worth of ACS data. We also discuss future plans for the ACS pipeline, including correction for pre-flash, geometric correction and combination of dithered images.
