We have developed a web-based tool for browsing the time-ordered data from the COBE Diffuse Infrared Background Experiment (DIRBE). As described in the DIRBE Explanatory Supplement, the DIRBE time-ordered data must be used to obtain accurate point source photometry. The DIRBE surveyed the entire sky in ten wavelength bands from 1.25 to 240 μ m with a 0.7 degree x 0.7 degree field of view, typically observing each position hundreds of times. The browsing tool can be used to obtain point source photometry averaged over multiple scans, or to measure light curves for variable point sources over periods ranging from a day to the entire ten-month cryogenic mission (December 1989 to September 1990). The browsing tool works as follows: The user specifies the source position, time interval in days, and DIRBE wavelength band. For each source scan, the browser returns the source flux in Jy after baseline subtraction and beam profile correction, an error estimate for the source flux, and the background intensity determined from the baseline fit. The user can also examine plots of time-ordered data for individual scans to check for the presence of nearby confusing sources.
