We report on the structure of the previously unrecognized shell system around the elliptical galaxy NGC 2634. Images were obtained in the B, R, V and I filters using the Hiltner 2.4m telescope at the MDM Observatory. At least 4 shells can be seen in the V and R images. Using standard procedures, we obtain radial profiles of the surface brightness, isophotal ellipticity and major axis position angle for the galaxy, and measure relative colors in the shells. We also use the spacing of the shells to place constraints on the radial mass distribution. This work is supported in part by NSF CAREER grant AST 97-03036.
