The results of the hydrodynamic calculations of nonlinear oscillations of W Vir-type variables with pulsation periods from 6 to 40 days are presented. The masses of the models are 0.6 solar masses. The Fourier decomposition of the hydrodynamic solutions of the models with pulsation periods of 8 and 10 d reveals the presence of the first overtone, the kinetic energy of which is nearly one-third of that of the fundamental mode. So large an amplitude of the first overtone is assumed to be due to the resonant coupling with the fundamental mode. The presence of the first overtone is responsible for the flat-topped light curves. Calculations of the models with periods longer than 20 d show that the pulsating atmosphere can be divided into two regions.
