Laboratory modelling has shown that at large heliocentric distances,
under the action of solar wind on the icy cometary nuclei surfaces, the
ion-molecular clusters with opposite charges may be produced. The
authors describe the most probable mechanism of formation, accumulation
and emission of ion-molecular clusters in comet nuclei.
