We present broadband imaging polarimetry of DR21 at 2.2 microns. Backgound stars shining through the bipolar outflow show polarization aligned with the long axis of the outflow, indicating a magnetic field geometry oriented along the flow axis. This is in agreement with H2 emission polarimetry in the NE by Itoh et al. (MNRAS, 304, 406), but not in the SW. Polarimetry of stars in the central cluster has a different position angle from the lobes and is in good agreement with mm polarimetry. The nebulosity seen in the lobes through the broadband K filter is very weakly polarized at most, indicating little reflection nebulosity contributes to the observed surface brightness. This work was supported in part by NSF grant AST9528336.
