Photometric measurements of comet Giacobini-Zinner were obtained during the period August 23 - 27, 1985 using the Jacobus Kapteyn 1 m telescope through the International Halley Watch set of filters. Measurements were carried out at a grid of points and from this data, contour maps have been drawn. The authors give some results concerning the distribution of the dust and the two neutrals, CN and C2. Of particular interest is that the CN appears to be stronger in the sunward direction, while the C2 is more prominent in the tail.
