The flux of meteoroid size particles ejected from comet Halley in the mass range from 10-9 to 10-1kg and observed by radar and optical methods is compared with the flux of dust particles in the mass range from 10-20 to 10-8kg as measured by space probes. The theory of the orbital motion of the comet and of the shell model of the stream corresponds within the observational errors of particle fluxes to the initial mass of the comet of about 3.2×1015kg and an effective diameter of 21 km, with the age of about 23000 revolutions.
