The Viper telescope, which is now operating at the South Pole, is carrying out a survey of a complete sample of fourteen luminous (L_x>3*E(44) ergs s(-1) [0.5-2.0 keV]) X-ray clusters with the aim of measuring their Sunyaev-Zel'dovich (SZ) signal at millimeter and sub-millimeter (45 - 350 GHz) wavelengths. The clusters being targeted are all at low redshift (z<0.1), allowing us to study their X-ray properties (temperature, metallicity, sub-clustering etc) in great detail. The combination of detailed X-ray and SZ maps will allow us to minimize systematic biases in the derivation of Hubble's Constant. Several of the clusters already have resolved temperature maps from ASCA observations and we have proposed to study the whole sample using XMM. The millimeter survey (45 GHz) is due to be completed in August 1999. We will present all available SZ data on the VSZS clusters and give preliminary values for Hubble's Constant based on available ASCA data.
