Based on first-epoch (1920), second-epoch (1962-1971), and third-epoch (1984) plates, all taken with the 30-cm double refractor of the Observatorium Hoher List, the proper motion of 233 stars in the very young open cluster NGC 6611 (Walker, 1961) was determined employing the PDS 2020GM Microdensitometer of the Muenster Astronomical Institute. The mean error is 1.4 arcsec/kyr. Among the program stars 113 were found to be members. In the present paper the results of the proper-motion survey are discussed and compared with those of van Schewick (1962) and Kamp (1974).
