We have observed ~ 120 LINERs, LINER - HII transition objects, and low luminosity Seyferts, at 2 cm with the Very Large Array (VLA). The observed sample includes all (96) low-luminosity AGN within 19 Mpc in the Palomar spectroscopic sample (Ho et al. 1995). Optical spectra exist for all objects in the sample, and three point radio spectral indices are available for ~ 50 objects (mainly LINERs). We will use the radio and optical properties to distinguish between starburst and supermassive black hole (SMBH) candidates, to determine the accretion mechanism in the SMBH candidates, and to determine the relationship between these low luminosity AGN and their more luminous counterparts e.g., Seyferts and Radio Galaxies.
