I will briefly review globular cluster populations in late-type galaxies. The tour will take us from globular clusters in S0 galaxies, over the systems of spirals, to globular clusters in low-surface-brightness galaxies. I will discuss the general properties of the systems and relate them to possible formation histories. In particular, I will compare their properties with the ones of systems around elliptical galaxies and discuss the implications on the merger model.
