Clumpy irregular galaxies have "hyper-active" levels of star-formingactivity which is concentrated into luminous OB star complexes. Thesecomplexes are at best marginally resolved from the ground. The objectiveof this program is to resolve and measure the structures of star-formingclumps in two of the best examples of this class of galaxy with the goalof understanding the type of stellar populations produced by this intensemode of star formation.
