We aim at improving our understanding of the early-type galaxies (ETGs) evolution. From our optical sample of 65 ETGs (see Annibali et al. 2007), mostly located in low density environments, we are analyzing 40 galaxies observed with Spitzer-IRS low resolution spectra and imaged in far UV with GALEX. A variety of ETGs properties emerges, from passive (see Bressan et al. 2006) to active and star forming objects (Figure 1).
