In the framework of the AMIGA project, we are completing an imaging survey of over 200 isolated galaxies in the Hα and Gunn r bands, providing a reference sample for the star formation processes in as nurture-free as possible environments. We aim at characterising the Hα emission tracing current star formation, both the global and the individual HII region luminosity functions.
