The limb darkening coefficients and normal albedo for 315 regions of about 10 x 10 sq deg on the Mars surface in red light (0.65 micron) are estimated on the basis of a photometric reduction and computer analysis of 35 photographic images obtained near the Mars opposition (between November 21 and December 3, 1990). The mean value of the limb darkening coefficient k = 0.76 is very similar to the global mean value, 0.79.
