Evidence for redshift periodicities in Lyalpha forests is present in new data for several QSOs. The theory of redshift periodicities proposed earlier by Cocke is used to scale the quantization interval (24 km/s) to the redshifts in the data, which run from z~ 1.72 to 4.14. The scaling depends on on the present value of the deceleration parameter q_0, and the periodicity is present at a statistical significance of about 99% at q_0=1/2. This confirms the results of an earlier study (Cocke & Tifft, Ap J 346, 613 (1989)), which reached the same conclusions. The only difference between the two data sets is that the new data show the periodicity at odd multiples of 12 km/s, whereas the older data were dominated by even multiples of 12.
