We present the first imaging study of far-infrared atomic lines around one of the most massive star in our galaxy Eta Carinae. Its proximity to our solar system enables us to make detailed study of its mass loss and interstellar material around the star. Observation is made with the AKARI FIS spectrometer and images of about 5’ × 10’ field around Eta Carinae were obtained with [C II] 158 μm and [O III] 88 μm lines. The [O III] image shows the site of highly excited interstellar material toward the Carina II molecular cloud. On the other hand, [C II] image shows two peaks at interface regions with molecular clouds toward north-west and south-east direction from Eta Carinae. Similarity of the position angle of the two peaks to the polar axis of Eta Carinae suggest that the emission peaks are related to stellar wind and old eruption activity of Eta Carinae.
