Assuming a simple dynamic model of an accretion disk around a compact source, we calculate the spectrum of Compton scattered annihilation line emission as a function of the velocity of disk material as well as the observing angles and disk opacities. We find that such spectral characters as the position and width of the line-like feature in the backscattered spectra of the annihilation line can provide new diagnostics of the innermost regions of accretion disks around compact objects. From the comparison of our calculations and the spectra observed from Nova Muscae, we also find the apparent inclination angle of the accretion disk to be about 65(deg) , implying a central black hole mass of about 5.3 Msun. We suggest that Compton backscattered annihilation line features may be a unique signature of accreting stellar mass black holes.
