We investigate the relationship between the locations of the possible 1-5 Jovian-mass companion of epsilon Eridani reported by radial velocity investigators, and the dust around that star detected by IRAS. The region of maximum dust density lies close to, possibly just outside, the probable location of the companion. A hotter dust component implied by the infrared spectral energy distribution extends closer to the star than the companion's orbit.
