The aim of the poster shown at the meeting was to summarize the work performed with the Fourier Transform Spectrometer mounted on the Caltech Submillimeter Observatory in the mid-1990s to understand the atmospheric spectrum at submillimeter wavelengths. The long-term goal was to provide an atmospheric model for ALMA and other submillimeter observatories as accurate as possible.
