A set of high resolution images of the core of the Galactic Globular Cluster M 15 (NGC 7078) were obtained with the Faint Object Camera on the Hubble Space Telescope through the F/48-F140W, F/48-F220W and F/96-F342W ultraviolet filters. Two UV-Color Magnitude Diagrams are presented for the ~ 300 objects measured in the 22''times 22'' field covered by our observations. These new data yield the following results: [(i)] 19 candidate variables were discovered from the rms frame-to-frame scatter of the F220W images. 15 of these are consistent with RR Lyrae stars. [(ii)] The existence of the gap on the Horizontal Branch separating the bulk of the HB stars from the Blue Tail, is confirmed. A procedure for deriving the temperature and the mass distribution for the HB stars is presented. [(iii)] 10 bright Blue Straggler stars are detected. This is the first direct evidence of the existence of such a population in M 15.
