The OSSE instrument on board the Compton Gamma Ray Observatory has observed NGC1275 from 28 Nov 1991 to 12 Dec 1991. We report our upper limits in the 50 - 100 keV range which are lower than previous detections. Using standard inverse compton models of X-ray emission from relativistic electrons interacting with the cosmic microwave background, we use the OSSE results to set new lower limits to the magnetic field in the diffuse radio source 3C84 (iii) surrounding NGC1275. Models and comparisons with previous observations will be presented.
