We here present a new observational signature of dynamics in a sunspot penumbra. The dynamics are observed as a small patch of downflows distributed sparsely in a center-side penumbra, and not observed in a limb-side penumbra. The distribution suggests that the downflow is aligned to magnetic field lines relatively vertical to the surface. The flow might be related to dissipation of magnetic energies in a penumbra.
