We will present preliminary results of IR and optical imaging of a sample of radio galaxies drawn from the MIT-Green Bank catalog. This sample typically has a factor of 4 less radio flux than the well-studied 3C sample. The goal of this study is to make a quantitative comparison of the photometry and morphology of this low radio-power sample to the more powerful 3C sample. We wish to determine what effects redshift and radio-power have on the radio--optical alignment effect. The observations were made with a NICMOS2 detector at the MMT and a CCD at the Steward 2.3m on Kitt Peak. We have selected galaxies in 2 redshift bins, centered on z=1 and z=1.8, to minimize contamination problems from strong emission lines and to allow comparison to previous studies. Initial results indicate that the K-magnitudes of this sample are consistent with those of the 3C sample. Optical and IR colors and morphology will also be discussed.
