A catalogue of 147 stellar associations and aggregates in NGC 628 was established using two plates taken with the 6-m telescope of the Special Astrophysical Observatory. The catalogue gives X,Y positions of defined associations, their angular sizes, integral magnitudes and H II identification. It was found that the frequency distributions of associations and H II regions are similar. Stellar associations form groups of two or more members with a length scale 600 pc called star complexes. The distance to NGC 628 was evaluated to be 7 Mpc.
