Using a semiclassical approach, we have calculated electron-, proton-,
and ionized helium-impact line widths and shifts for 69 C IV multiplets
of large principal quantum number. This comprehensive set of data has
been used for the investigation of Stark broadening parameter
regularities within spectral series.
