From archival IBIS data search, we report a newly discovered intermediate long type I X-ray burst from the ultra-compact binary candidate SLX 1737-282. It was detected on 9 March 2004 with a duration of about 10 minutes and a peak flux of about 750 mCrab (20-30 keV). The ISGRI spectrum is well described by a black body model with kT=2.5+/-0.3 keV.
