Results of a detailed multiwavelength study of the group of Herbig-Haro objects, HH 90/91, are presented. Narrowband CCD images were obtained in H-alpha and forbidden S II which encompass the whole complex. Proper motions are determined for several knots in the complex. The various knots in HH 91 have dynamical time scales of a few thousand years. HH90, if ejected from HH 91A, has a dynamical age of about 24,000 yr. Most of the knots exhibit an extremely low-excitation optical spectrum, with forbidden S II/H-alpha of about 2 and absent or weak forbidden N II 6548+84 emission. Millimeter emission line observations of (C-13)O (1-0) show that HH 91 is located at a strong density gradient in the surrounding molecular material. It is argued that HH 90/91 is in an advanced state of evolution.
