The 180-deg phase shift predicted by an analysis of the image-rejecting mixer/multiplying polarimeter combination is confirmed by the VLA phased array observations of the pulsar PSR 0329 + 54. A block diagram of the image-rejecting mixer and multiplying polarimeter instrumental configuration is presented. The location of the reference pulse longitude in the PSR 0329 + 54 pulse profile is shown.
