We present results from the first year of daily optical/IR observations of Fermi/LAT monitored blazars. Recognizing the importance of correlated multi-wavelength observations, the Fermi-LAT team has provided immediate release of daily flux levels for nearly two dozen bright blazars. We have observed those blazars visible from CTIO in Chile with the Small and Moderate Aperture Research Telescope System (SMARTS). Daily photometric monitoring was carried out in B, V, R, J and K bands. We present light curves, spectra, and spectral energy distributions (SEDs) of these blazars. Temporal correlations between the optical/UV and X-ray/gamma-ray fluxes are measured in order to distinguish between hadronic and leptonic models for the high energy component of the blazar SED.
SMARTS observations of LAT-monitored blazars are supported by Fermi GI grant 011283. CDB, MMB and the SMARTS 1.3m observing queue also receive support from NSF grant AST-0707627.
