Delivery of the Phase Referenced Imaging and Microarcsecond Astrometry (PRIMA) to ESO's Very Large Telescope Interferometer (VLTI) took place in August of 2008, and PRIMA's fringe sensor units (FSUs) achieved first fringes on-sky shortly thereafter. Since that time, intensive commissioning activity has been taking place, testing the dual FSUs, telescope star separators, internal system metrology, and differential delay lines. Results from the first 4 commissioning runs will be presented, along with near-term prospects for PRIMA to produce narrow-angle astrometry at the level of tens of microarseconds.
