Scientific paper
The Baldwin effect, the BL Lac phenomenon, the color changes, and
brightness fluctuations in QSOs may arise from morphological aberrations
in images, produced by gravitational lenses. As an example, the behavior
of BL Lac object 0846+51W1 is discussed.
