A re-analysis of published observational data concerning the spatial distributions of cometary C3 and OH has begun. Haser model scale lengths have been compiled for twelve brightness profiles. Very preliminary results for C3 show a much larger variation of scale lengths with changing heliocentric distance than has been previously recognized. Scale lengths found for OH are somewhat larger than currently accepted values.
