The λ6708 region has been observed with high resolution in order to detect and analyse the abundance of Li in a sample of peculiar stars (mostly CP2 group). The observations were analysed by the synthetic spectrum method comparing the observed lines with the computed ones. The authors conclude that, with respect to the cosmic abundance (log ɛ = -9), Li may be over or underabundant or normal. At 6706.8 Å an intense feature has been detected in CP2 spectra; it remains unidentified.
