TeV blazar Mrk 421 has been observed extensively during 2008 by the
VERITAS gamma-ray observatory. Simultaneous X-ray observations were
obtained with Swift-XRT and RXTE-PCA. In this contribution we present
the light curves obtained in both energy bands and their correlation.
