This paper reports 27 southern objects of astrophysical interest discovered on moderate-dispersion Curtis Schmidt objective-prism plates obtained at Cerro Tololo. About half of the objects are previously unclassified red variables, but the list also includes two new bright stars showing composite spectra, several interesting peculiar A stars, and a possible new RR Lyrae star.
