Using the Tully-Fisher relation between the total luminosity and the H I line width of spiral galaxies as a distance indicator, a correlation between distances and redshifts of the different galaxies in nearby clusters is found. This correlation can be explained by an expansion rate of the cluster's outermost regions which is positive but less than Hubble's constant, as derived from the Tully-Fisher relation. Some dynamical implications are discussed.
