Precise optical positions and proper motions in the FK4 system have been determined for four recently detected radio stars in the Cyg OB2 association and the known radio star P Cyg. A comparison with the VLA positions from Abbott et al. (1982) shows an excellent agreement of both declination systems in that sky region, whereas a constant R.A. zero point difference of -9 ms probably is present. The importance of determining precise radio positions of the Hipparcos astrometry satellite project is stressed.
