Faulkner's (1977) period fitting formulas are employed to derive mass estimates for double mode or beat Cepheids. Luminosity values used in the calculations assume the standard Hyades distance modulus, (m-M)o = 3.03. Attention is given to a Fourier analysis, whereby techniques which are similar to power spectrum analysis are applied to the least squares method in order to plot discrepancies in the observed stellar masses.
