Improved two-color photographic photometry of the variable stars in the globular cluster M13 (NGC6205) is presented. Contrary to previous suggestions, it is shown that variables 1, 2, and 8 have magnitudes and colors consistent with their classification as normal population II variables. A pulsational mass of 0.54 solar mass is derived for variable No. 1. One of the red giants observed is suspected of variability.
