The necessity of taking the helicity of the regular components of the interplanetary magnetic field into account in the study of nonhomogeneous anisotropic diffusion of cosmic rays is considered with reference to symmetric and nonsymmetric models of isotropic diffusion. An expression that describes the behavior of galactic cosmic rays in interplanetary space is introduced, as are expressions for significant parameters, including the ratio of the transverse and longitudinal diffusion coefficients. Factors that affect this parameter are examined, and transformations that simplify its calculation are presented.
