Photographic B-R colors of 182 low surface brightness galaxies in the area of the Fornax cluster are determined, including a subset of 94 galaxies with an extrapolated central surface brightness fainter than 22.5 B(mu) which are very probable cluster members. When the galaxies are separated into morphological types, it is found that the colors of the (smooth) dEs are clearly redder than those of the (lumpy) dIs. The nucleated dEs appear to be redder than nonnucleated dEs. For the dEs and nucleated dEs a clear C-M relationship is found, in the sense that fainter galaxies are redder, while for the dIs the opposite trend may prevail.
