The objective of this activity is twofold: firstly, to establish the position of the coronographic fingers in SDS coordinates, and, secondly, to establish the best internal focus of the f/96 chain and verify its resolution performance. Both an extended object with structure and a series of point sources should be imaged to obtain the point spread function and the knife edge function. The procedure is to be repeated for the f/288. The f/96 and the f/288 best focus positions determined by these observations will be used to update the flight software, and the necessary for performing future FOC observations. Finally a series of esposures will be taken in each mode with all the focus information updated. Revised 10/11/89 & 10/26 by L. Nagel to accomadate redline revisions & match Implementation Plans. Revised 12/5/89 to accommodate results of meetings with proposer.
