The extragalactic sky in gamma-rays is long-known to be dominated by blazars. With the first year of Fermi Large Area Telescope (LAT) observations now complete, a new population of gamma-ray emitting radio galaxies (i.e., `misaligned blazars') has emerged. The new LAT discoveries will be described, with particular emphasis on the MeV/GeV detections of Perseus A and M87, and the discovery of gamma-rays from the giant radio lobes ( 10 deg total angular extent) of Centaurus A. The unique insight into emission models of relativistic jets provided by these observations, in particular the production site of gamma-ray emission, will be discussed.
