Interacting galaxies like the famous Antennae (NGC 4038/4039) show recent star-forming activity in their tidal arms. High resolution images (e.g. from HST-observations) show that these regions consist of up to hundreds of young, massive stellar clusters or tidal dwarf galaxies (TDG). With this project the future fate of these clusters of young, massive star-clusters (in this work called super-clusters) is investigated. It is very likely that such configurations merge and build a dwarf galaxy object, this possibly being a primary mechanism of how long-lived dwarf satellite galaxies form. Therefore, compact super-clusters in the tidal field of their host galaxy are simulated, to investigate the influence of orbital or internal parameters on the rate and timescale of the merging process (i.e. how fast do the single clusters merge and how many star-clusters are able to survive this process). The resulting objects look like small dwarf elliptical (dE) galaxies being spheroidal, very compact and resistant against tidal dissolution. The main physical processes that can transform these objects into fluffy shaped, dwarf spheroidal (dSph) like objects or to destroy them totally, are sinking due to dynamical friction, tidal heating in eccentric orbits and disk/bulge shocking or interactions with other objects. In addition this thesis describes the particle-mesh code SUPERBOX in detail and the new massive parallel version of the code.
