The ROSAT mirror system launched by a NASA Delta-2 in June 1990 is
discussed. It is capable of producing color images in the 0.1-2.4 KeV
energy range. Preliminary data on supernova remnants and diffuse
Galactic emission; galaxies, clusters of galaxies, and quasars; and
active galactic nuclei are briefly reviewed.
