Ardavan's (1976) expression relating distance from the light cylinder to the Lorentz factor of the relativistically corotating plasma of an axisymmetric pulsar magnetosphere is examined critically. An analysis is performed which yields a substantially different expression for the distance from the light cylinder in terms of the plasma's Lorentz factor at some cylindrical coordinate. It is concluded that a fuller investigation of the plasma velocity components near the light cylinder is warranted.
